Stichting Second Home heeft als doel het realiseren en in stand houden van een woonvoorziening voor kinderen met een verstandelijke beperking of leerachterstand in Gambia, zodat zij naar school kunnen. Bij Second Home wonen 12 kinderen die daar worden verzorgd door werknemers uit Gambia zelf, genaamd nanny's. Zij zorgen voor eten, lichamelijke verzorging en ze geven de kinderen een kans om zorgeloos kind te kunnen zijn.
De kinderen worden op maandag thuis door ons opgehaald en naar school gebracht. 's Middags worden ze weer opgehaald en naar Second Home gebracht. Dit gebeurt dagelijks, en op vrijdag middag worden ze door ons weer naar huis gebracht om het weekend weer bij hun familie door te brengen.
Met het geld zorgen wij ervoor dat de woonvoorziening te realiseren is en zodat de kinderen naar school kunnen gaan. In de toekomst hoopt de stichting een eigen Lodge en een leer-/werkplaats te bouwen voor de kinderen.

Causes can disable any brand for their shoppers. Ask the cause to disable the brand; it will then no longer appear when that cause is selected.
