Met ondersteuning van Nederlandse gezinnen kunnen ruim 1.000 (wees) kinderen in Rakai, een plattelandsprovincie in Oeganda weer naar school. Voorheen leefden deze kinderen in bittere armoede, maar door de hulp van sponsorouders kunnen ze nu leren lezen en schrijven. Maar mogelijkheden om een vak te leren zijn er echter nog niet. Hierdoor hebben de kinderen nauwelijks mogelijkheden om later in hun eigen onderhoud te voorzien. De ambachtsschool kan dit veranderen. Door financieel steun van enkele bedrijven is het gebouw inmiddels nagenoeg gereed en zijn we nu op zoek naar mensen die willen helpen om de lokale in te richten. We willen deze spullen zoveel mogelijk in Oeganda zelf kopen en daarmee de lokale bedrijven stimuleren. Jij kunt ons daarbij helpen door een donatie te geven voor de inrichting van de klaslokalen. Mede door jouw hulp krijgen de jonge mensen de mogelijkheid om een beroepsopleiding te volgen en zelfredzaam te worden. Steun dit schitterende initiatief dat kinderen weer eigenwaarde geeft en hen helpt om een goede hoopvolle toekomst op te bouwen. Alleen zo kunnen we samen de cirkel van armoede doorbreken voor deze mooie mensen die zoveel kunnen, maar zo weinig hebben.

Causes can disable any brand for their shoppers. Ask the cause to disable the brand; it will then no longer appear when that cause is selected.
